[COSMETIC GLOSSARY : Galenic]

This term comes from the name of Galien, a greek doctor in the 2nd century, who recommended plant medicine.

By extension, now it means all shapes that pharmaceutical or cosmetic products can have. So the galenic form of a product is its global aspect, particularly its texture (emulsion, gel, powder, lotion, foam...)

Then we'll enjoy a product's Galenic if its texture and perfume seem to us especially pleasurable !
